A Space to Be a Kid Again
Monthly peer support sessions for siblings of children with additional needs
What Is the Sibling Group Programme?
Being the sibling of a child with additional needs, a serious illness, or a disability is a unique and often invisible experience.
Children in this position often grow up faster than their peers, carrying worries they rarely get to voice.
The Sibling Group exists to change that.
We run monthly peer support sessions in Harrogate for children aged 5 to 16 who have a brother or sister with additional needs, SEND, or a serious illness.
Our sessions give these children a place to step out of their caring role, meet others who truly understand, and just be kids.
