Introduction to Sensory Storytelling for SEND & PMLD

Online Training Workshop | The Sensory Project – Part of The Sibling Group

Discover how to bring stories to life through sensory experiences in this engaging and practical online training workshop.

Designed for teachers, teaching assistants, SEN professionals, support workers, parents and carers, this workshop explores how sensory storytelling can support communication, engagement, learning and participation for children and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).

Sensory storytelling goes beyond simply reading a book. By incorporating touch, sound, movement, visual experiences and meaningful interaction, stories can become accessible, enjoyable and inclusive for individuals with complex needs.
